BASF社より中国の大型石油化学プロジェクトを受注＜English Follows＞
TOYO Awarded Large-Scale Petrochemical Complex from BASF, China
東洋エンジニアリング株式会社 (TOYO、取締役社長 永松 治夫）はドイツBASF社が中国広東省湛江（たんこう）市に計画する大型石油化学コンプレックス (BASF Zhanjiang Verbund Project) におけるアクリル酸プラントのEPsCm*1、エチレンプラント、製品貯蔵施設、ポリエチレンプラントのPMS*2およびプラントコンプレックス全体のプロジェクト管理/統括業務を受注しました。
2019年11月に正式に開始された同プロジェクトは、2030年までの総投資金額が約100億ユーロのBASF社史上最大の投資計画であり、BASF社単独の元に運営されます。サイト規模についても、ドイツのルートヴィヒスハーフェン、ベルギーのアントワープに次ぐ世界で3番目に大きいBASF社のサイトとなります。
当社は2013年にBASF社との包括エンジニアリングパートナー契約締結以来、Toyo-China、Toyo-India、Toyo-Malaysia、Toyo-Korea、IKPT(インドネシア子会社)、テックプロジェクトサービスといったグローバル拠点の強みを生かし、BASF社のアジア太平洋地域投資へ貢献しています。
2002年BASF社向けアクリル酸プラントの受注実績に加え、当社の豊富なFEED*3実績、PMS実績、過去の大型プロジェクトを通じて培われたプロジェクト遂行能力が高い評価を受けたことが今回の受注に至りました。
当社は今後もBASF社との信頼関係をより深め、BASF社のアジア太平洋地域における投資に貢献します。

TOYO Engineering Corporation (TOYO, President and CEO Haruo Nagamatsu) has been awarded contracts by BASF for EPsCm services for an Acrylics complex, Project Management Services for Steamcracker, Central Production Tankfarm and Polyethylene projects and Project Management Services for the overall management of the buildup of the Large-Scale Petrochemical Complex (BASF Zhanjiang Verbund Site Project) in Zhanjiang, Guangdong, China.
This new Verbund site project was officially commenced in November 2019, and it is the BASF’s largest investment with up to 10 billion euro by 2030. It would be operated under the sole responsibility of BASF. The site would ultimately be the third-largest BASF site worldwide, following Ludwigshafen, Germany, and Antwerp, Belgium.
Since the conclusion of the partnership agreement in 2013, TOYO has continuously contributed to BASF’s investments in Asia Pacific by utilizing region-rooted knowhow of TOYO’s global network such as Toyo-China, Toyo-India, Toyo-Malaysia, Toyo-Korea, IKPT (Indonesian subsidiary) and TEC Project Services (Japanese subsidiary).
Not only TOYO’s successful award of Acrylic Acid for BASF in 2002, our affluent experiences in FEED and proven project execution skills obtained through several large-scale projects were highly evaluated by BASF and led this time award.
TOYO will deepen the relationship with BASF and keep contributing beyond BASF's expectations.
