アイルランドのC&F グリーン・エナジー社、日本事業に正式に着手 C&F Green Energy Officially Launch its Operations in Japan

C&F グリーン・エナジー社は11月18日、アイルランド大使公邸で行われたアイルランド投資・貿易ミッションの会合で、日本での販売・修理サポート事業を正式に立ち上げると発表しました。

雇用・産業・技術省メアリー・ミッチェル・オコナー大臣、アン・バリントン駐日アイルランド大使、業界リーダーの前で、C&F グリーン・エナジー社は、新会社C&F ジャパン（C&F Japan）を設立、事務所を東京に置き、日本事業に専属人員を充てると発表しました。

「日本での風力発電の提供と進展に重要な節目となる好機です。市場で他に類を見ない世界一の風力タービンで、効果的な風力発電ソリューションを日本の皆様に提供します。」と、C&F グリーン・エナジー社CEO兼C&F ジャパン社長ジョン・フラハティ氏は述べました。

日本訪問中の雇用・産業・技術省メアリー・ミッチェル・オコナー大臣は次のように述べました。「アイルランドの企業にとって、日本はアジア太平洋地域内の重要な戦略市場です。C&Fグリーン・エナジーによる今日の発表は、日本市場で活躍するアイルランド企業の高い能力と可能性、技術革新とグローバル進出の意欲を示しています。アイルランド政府商務庁は、アイルランド企業の成長に貢献する政府機関として、C&F グリーン・エナジーの日本での成長に協力を継続するとともに、同社のさらなる成功を願っています。」

このたび発表された新体制では、製品性能、品質管理、継続改善の最適化を確保するために、販売、電気・機械系統の専門知識を伴うフィールドサポート、 設計・品質サポートといったサポート機能を拡充します。日本に常駐する専属人員にはアイルランドのC&F本社が直接支援し、国内の要求に効果的かつタイムリーに対応するのに必要な最新情報や能力を提供します。

C&F ジャパンでは既に、認証リセラーと修理・保守業者を含めたネットワークを構築し、タービンのエンドユーザーすべてに効率的で効果的なアフターサービスを提供できる体制になっています。このネットワークの拡大につれ、日本の各地で既存事業を支え、新事業を開拓するパートナー企業を持てることになります。パートナー企業では現地要員を据え、顧客基盤のあらゆるニーズに年中無休24時間サポートを提供します。

このように広範囲にまたがる顧客基盤と修理要員の管理に向け、C&Fグリーン・エナジー社では設置済みタービンの重要な運転・性能特性を直接監視することができるカスタムの通信システムを開発しました。アイルランドを拠点とするカスタマーサービスチームは、各タービンを年中無休24時間ライブで監視して正常運転を保証します。システムでは、対処を要するか否かを示すタービンや風の状況を測定することができます。 情報はタービンやコントローラーのGPSリンクを介して収集され、相関づけられてコントロールセンター内に設置された顧客毎のディスプレイ画面に表示されます。重大なアラームには24時間体制で要員が対応して現地の適切な連絡窓口に通知します。この設備は数か月以内に日本で稼働し、監視・制御を可能にします。

C&F Green Energy has announced it is officially launching its Sales & Service Support operations in Japan by attending an Enterprise & Innovation function at the Irish ambassador’s residence last Friday 18th as part of an Irish investment and marketing mission.

In the presence of the ambassador, Anne Barrington, the Irish Minister for Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation, Mary Mitchell O’Connor and many senior business leaders, C&F Green Energy were delighted to announce the set up of its new company ‘C&F Japan’ with office facilities in Tokyo and a team of people dedicated to supporting its operations in Japan.

“This is a marvellous occasion and an important milestone in the provision & development of wind energy generation capability here on the island of Japan” quoted C&F Green Energy CEO & President of C&F Japan, John Flaherty.

“We are here to provide a clean & cost effective wind energy solution to the people of Japan that will be unrivalled in this market space. We build what we firmly believe to be the best wind turbines in the world.”

Speaking in Tokyo, Irish Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Mary Mitchell O’Connor TD said: “Japan is a strategically important market for Irish exporters to the Asia Pacific region. Today’s announcement by C&F Green Energy reflects the strong capability and potential of Irish companies active in the Japanese market, as well as the global ambition and innovation on offer from businesses in Ireland. Enterprise Ireland, the government organisation responsible for the growth of Irish enterprises in world markets, will continue to work with C&F Green Energy as they grow in Japan and I wish them every success for the future”.  

The new structure announced will enhance support capability in the areas of Sales, Field Technical Support, such as electrical & mechanical expertise and Design & Quality support to ensure optimum product performance, quality control and continuous improvement. A dedicated team of people based in Japan will be directly supported by C&F headquarters back in Ireland thus ensuring they have the latest information & capability necessary to provide an effective & timely response to local requirements.

C&F Japan have already developed a large network of approved Resellers and Service/Maintenance Contractors so that all turbine end-users have an efficient & effective post sale support structure. As this network grows, each region in Japan will have partners to sustain current business and grow new business. These partners will have on-the-ground crews that can provide 24/7 support to meet all the needs of an active customer base.

To manage such a wide scaled customer base & service crew dispersion, CFGE have developed a customized communications system that allows them to directly monitor all installed turbines for key operational & performance attributes. A customer services team based in Ireland provides 24/7 live monitoring of each turbine to ensure it is running satisfactorily. They can measure critical turbine and wind conditions which will indicate if the turbine is running ok or needs attention. This information is gathered through a GPS link to the turbine and its controllers and then correlated & presented on customer by customer display screens in the control center. Round the clock personnel can then react real-time to critical alarms and inform appropriate points-of-contact on the ground. This facility will be enabled in Japan in the coming months thus giving local monitoring & control capability.
