Innovent, Inc. (President & COO: Masato Hori) will hold the 3rd EXPAT EXPO TOKYO 2022 at Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center on November 25th and 26th (Fri & Sat), 2022.（Official website: https://expat-expo.jp/）

EXPAT EXPO TOKYO will expand in 2022
More than 2.8 million of foreign nationals are living, working, and studying in Japan (Statistics Bureau, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications). Although the growth rate was temporarily slowing down due to the COVID-19 spread, the number is likely to increase thanks to the efforts by the government and businesses including introduction of “specified skilled worker” visa, recruitment of “highly skilled professionals”, and promotion of diversity. On the other hand, many foreign nationals are facing difficulties in daily lives because of language and cultural barriers. To respond to this situation, the 1st EXPAT EXPO TOKYO was held in 2020 as a matching platform (B to B to C exhibition) for internationals and local businesses providing foreigner-friendly services and welcomed a lot of foreign nationals and their families. Despite the corona crisis, the 1st EXPAT EXPO TOKYO sold all the booths, and the 2nd was held with a five times larger scale (168 exhibitors including International Job Fair Tokyo). The two-day event will come back as the 3rd EXPAT EXPO TOKYO this year and will be held with even larger scale with the current situation of the immigration and international business.

Event space at EXPAT EXPO TOKYO is available for anyone who are planning events for foreign nationals in Japan. Not only recitals, contests, seminars, workshops, but also closed meetings of your communities and organizations are also welcome. Event space could be offered for free for some kinds of contents.  「日本在住の外国人向け」の展示会、規模を拡大して開催

日本に居住する外国人の数は年々増加し、コロナ禍により増加率は一時的に低下しているものの、その数は現在約282万人となっています（総務省統計より）。特定技能の創設、高度人材の呼び込み、外国人共生社会の推進など、政府や自治体、企業の取組みにより、今後も更なる増加が見込まれています。一方で、言語や文化の壁により、在留外国人の方々が日本での生活の様々な場面で不便を感じているのが現状です。そのような背景から、外国人向けのサービス・商品を提供する企業と、それらのサービスを必要としている日本在住の外国人やその家族と外国人雇用企業とのマッチングの場（BtoBtoCの専門展示会）として、2020年11月に「第1回 EXPAT EXPO TOKYO」を開催いたしました。コロナ禍にもかかわらず、第1回目はスペースが完売、2021年11月に開催した第2回目には168社が出展（同時開催展含む）、大変好評に開催でき、第３回目の開催も決定いたしました。引き続き外務省や港区、日本政府観光局（JNTO）、日本旅行業協会、各国商工会議所などが後援、各国大使館にも協力いただき、次回も大幅に規模を拡大して開催いたします。
