約80%のお客様が外国人というインポート子ども服ショップ「ETLIBERI（エトリーべリ）」お客様からのご要望によりオリジナルキッズドレスラインVol.1がデビュー
お下がりにしたくない、忘れたくない、自分の子どもに残しておきたい、そんなウェディングドレスのような子どものドレスを作りたくてデザインすることになりました。
ETLIBERIはインポート子ども服ショップとして2023年８月に六本木に小さくオープン致しました。お店の場所も、またスタッフ全員が英語を話すという環境から約80%のお客様が外国の方という日本ではとても珍しい子ども服屋さんとなりました。
日本在住の外国の方やインバウンドでいらっしゃるお客様、様々な方にお越し頂いておりますが、特にインバウンドのお客様には日本のお土産としてこのお店のオリジナル商品が欲しいというお声を沢山頂戴しておりました。
海外でもニーズのある子ども服、この小さなお店一店舗だから作れるもの、日本に行って来たと記念になる様なもの。そんなことを考えているうちにファウンダーの伊藤は自身が小さい時に買ってもらったドレスを思い出しました。
チュチュが沢山着いた真っ黒なドレス、腰にひとつ大きく真っ赤なお花のコサージュ。誕生日、発表会などイベントの度に、家でプリンセスごっこをする度に背中のジップが上がらなくなってもクローゼットから引っ張り出してはそのドレスを着ていたのを今でも思い出します。母が幼馴染の妹にお下がりであげてしまったことが寂しくて悲しくて。けれどそのドレスが今年、30年の時を経て手元に戻って来た時の喜びは驚くほどのものでした。
『映画「Sex and the City」のキャリーが引越しの時に捨てられなかったチュールのドレス』、 そんな風に誰かの忘れたくない、残しておきたい一着を作りたくてドレスをデザインすることになりました。
世界中のプリンセスごっこがETLIBERIのドレスで溢れますよう、願いを込めて。

ETLIBERI - Boosting one of Tokyo’s exclusive connections to western children’s fashion, one of Tokyo’s premier children’s import clothing boutiques, unveils its original dress line inspired by customer appeal and imagination.
Designed and crafted with the passion and devotion befitting the timeless affections a Bride has for her wedding dress, these dresses are more than spun threads and stitching; they are dreams to be cherished by generations. Each design woven to be an unforgettable heirloom to be shared from Parent to Child.
In August of 2023, ETLIBERI, situated in the vibrant district of Roppongi,opened its doors. Introducing itself as a boutique specializing in imported children’s luxury clothing, this “specialty store” has had the pleasure of welcoming a diverse range of foreign customers, both living in Japan and visiting from overseas. While perusing their wares, a common inquiry was heard “Where are the unique designs that can only be found here in Japan?”
In response to this and inspired by ETLIBERI’s commitment to provide adored memories for their customers, founder, Hanabusa (Hana) Ito, embarked on this journey to design an original line of dresses honoring the meticulous artistry, craftsmanship, and quality synonymous with Japan-made products.
Reflecting on this idea, Hana drew her inspiration from a fond memory of that ONE unforgettable dress from her childhood: a black dress, reminiscent of a ballet tutu, adorned with a large bright red flower corsage at the waist. Whenever there was a special occasion, or even to simply indulge in princess play at home, she would excitedly locate it in her wardrobe, even past the time she had begun outgrowing it.
As Hana outgrew the “usefulness” of her unforgettable dress, her mother suggested handing it down to a friend unaware of its deep significance to her daughter. Hana vividly recalls the devastation she felt at the thought of parting with it because of how incredibly special this dress was to her.
Hana, with the release of “The First Birthday Dress ™” is looking to capture that same feeling for young ones worldwide - The same feeling shared by Carrie Bradshaw for her Tulle dress in “Sex in the City”. A feeling that great design can outlive the bounds of “usefulness” and become Iconic.
