テキサスのホビーストア「TOKYO STORY」、バンダイ・マシンでガシャポン店をリニューアル・オープン

TOKYO STORYはこのたび、日本最大の玩具問屋である株式会社ハピネットの米国子会社との業務提携により、米国テキサス州ヒューストン市の複合型エンタメ施設「POST Houston*」内で展開するガシャポン・マシン100台以上を全てバンダイ製に入れ替え、リニューアル・オープンしました。
TOKYO STORY代表清水陽一郎のコメント：「今回のリニューアルの最大の成果は、2023年11月の開業以来大きな課題だった、タイムリーな商品の仕入れとマシンの安定作動が同時に達成できることです。これでテキサス中からPOST Houstonに集まる若者達に、最新のバンダイのガシャポン商品をいつでも提供できるようになりました。我々の目標であるテキサスでのアキバ村の立上げにも近づいたと考えています。」
TOKYO STORYはFalcon JP Investment LLC（本社テキサス州ヒューストン）の登録商標。ヒューストン市内で上記のPOST Houstonの他、ヒューストン大学メインキャンパス内に店舗を有し、日本グッズの販売や大学サークルとのコラボによるeスポーツ、メイドカフェ、バーチャル・コンサート、日本酒フェス等のイベントを主催している。現在ガシャポン、日本酒バー、メイドカフェ、アイドルなどの要素を組み合わせたアミューズメント空間「アキバ・スクエア」の立上げを計画中。

TOKYO STORY Unveils Revamped Gashapon Store at POST Houston
TOKYO STORY is excited to announce the grand reopening of its flagship Gashapon store at POST Houston, Houston, Texas. Now featuring over 100 brand-new Gashapon machines from Bandai group (“Bandai”)—the world’s leading manufacturer of Japanese manga and anime toys—the store offers an expanded selection of official prizes and an enhanced customer experience.
This transformation was made possible through an exclusive arrangement with the US subsidiary of Happinet Corporation, Bandai’s official distributor and the largest wholesaler of toys in Japan. As a result, TOKYO STORY will now receive a steady supply of official Bandai Gashapon prizes, ensuring both variety and reliability for customers.
Yo Shimizu, founder and president of TOKYO STORY, shared his enthusiasm for this partnership:
