インフォシス、シンジェンタの作物保護事業におけるSAP S/4HANAへの移行を実現

80カ国、1万人を超える従業員を支える新たなデジタル基盤を構築し、業務の簡素化と将来のイノベーションに向けた拡張性の高いシステムを実現

AIファーストのビジネスコンサルティングおよびテクノロジーサービスのグローバルリーダーであるインフォシス（Infosys、NSE、BSE、NYSE：INFY）は、シンジェンタ（Syngenta）の作物保護事業を対象としたグローバルSAP S/4HANA変革プロジェクト「Crop Protection Core（以下、CP Core）」の導入を完了し、本番稼働を開始したことを発表しました。 

インフォシスとシンジェンタが共同で推進した本プロジェクトにより、80カ国、1万人を超える従業員を支える統合デジタル基盤が構築されました。これにより、業務プロセスの簡素化やガバナンスの強化を図るとともに、将来のイノベーションを支える拡張性の高い基盤を確立し、シンジェンタによる世界中の農業生産者へのサービス向上に貢献します。 

SAP S/4HANAを基盤とするCP Coreは、複数のERP環境を単一のグローバルプラットフォームに統合しました。これにより、シンジェンタのIT環境を簡素化するとともに、SAPの標準機能を活用し、個別のカスタマイズを抑えることで、システムの標準化を進めました。 

本プラットフォームは、研究、製造、サプライチェーン、規制対応、財務、営業などの各業務領域を統合するデジタル基盤として、部門間の連携やガバナンスを強化するとともに、シンジェンタのグローバル作物保護事業全体の状況をより的確に把握できる環境を整えます。また、IT環境の簡素化により、事業全体の業務効率を高め、将来のイノベーションを支える安定した基盤を構築しました。 

本変革は、生成AIおよびエージェント型AI技術を活用したAIファーストのサービス、ソリューション、およびプラットフォーム群である「Infosys Topaz」と、クラウドサービス群である「Infosys Cobalt」を活用して推進されました。これにより、業務プロセスの刷新やデータ品質の向上を図るとともに、信頼性の高い全社的なデータ基盤を確立しました。 

また、AI機能を導入することで、定型業務の自動化と業務のさらなる標準化を推進するとともに、重要なビジネス上の意思決定においては、人間を中心に据えたアプローチを維持しています。
