高機能フィラー「DIA」（2D板状タルク）の開発・製造・販売を行うGX MINERALS株式会社（本社：愛知県岡崎市、代表取締役会長：林宏剛、以下「当社」）は、シリーズA++ラウンドにおいて資金調達を実施いたしました。調達先は、NEX-T Tokai Innovation Fund（Prime Partners／東海東京証券共同運営）、岡崎信用金庫、株式会社三井住友銀行、個人株主および法人の計3者で、投融資による総額は約4.6億円（デットファイナンスを含む）となりました。

■資金調達の背景

当社は2023年5月の創業以来、産学官連携で開発した高機能フィラー「DIA」を核に、樹脂の高機能化に資する製品をご提案し、お届けしてまいりました。これらは「脱炭素化」と「樹脂複合材の機能向上」を両立する製品です。

2026年7月には、愛知県田原市の田原工場が商業稼働に入りました。これにより、年間約1万トンの生産能力を備えた供給体制が整いました。

製品を安定して届けられる段階に到達したことで、当社は事業の軸足を広げる局面に入りました。「樹脂向けの量産供給」に加え、「高機能材料などの高付加価値領域への展開」に取り組みます。本ラウンドは、この事業の広がりを支えるために実施したものです。

■高機能フィラー「DIA」とは

「DIA」は、産学官連携により開発された2D板状の高機能フィラーです。層状鉱物であるタルクを独自技術で高アスペクト比化しており（板面の大きさに対して厚みが薄い形状を、当社では「2D板状」と表現しております）、樹脂と複合化することで、高い剛性と軽量化の両立に貢献します。

■田原工場について

田原工場（愛知県田原市）は、2026年1月に竣工し、2026年7月に商業稼働に入りました。約3,300平方メートルの敷地で、年間約1万トンの生産能力により「DIA」を製造しております。製造にはCO2フリー電力などを活用し、環境負荷を抑えております。

GX MINERALS INC. (Headquarters: Okazaki, Aichi, Japan; Chairman & Representative Director (CEO): Hirotake Hayashi; hereinafter "GX MINERALS") develops, manufactures, and sells the high performance filler "DIA" (2D platy talc). Today, the company announced that it has closed its Series A++ round, raising a total of approximately JPY 460 million, including debt financing. The investors and lenders are NEX-T Tokai Innovation Fund (co-managed by Prime Partners and Tokai Tokyo Securities), The Okazaki Shinkin Bank, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, and three individual and corporate investors.

Background

Since its founding in May 2023, GX MINERALS has proposed and delivered products built around "DIA," a high performance filler developed through industry-academia-government collaboration. These products combine decarbonization with enhanced performance of resin composite materials.

Having reached the stage of stable, reliable supply, GX MINERALS has broadened its focus. In addition to volume supply for resin applications, the company is working to expand applications for "DIA" into high-value fields such as advanced functional materials. The Series A++ round was carried out to support this expansion.

Use of Proceeds

The funds raised in this round are allocated to the following:

Development and evaluation of specialty grades for advanced functional materials (including in-house sample evaluation and analysis)
Building quality assurance and validation systems, and hiring the talent to run them
Securing and maintaining intellectual property rights (in Japan and overseas)

What Is "DIA"?

"DIA" is a high performance filler made of 2D platy talc, developed through industry-academia-government collaboration. It is produced by increasing the aspect ratio of talc, a layered mineral, through proprietary technology; the platelets are thin relative to their width, which is what the company refers to as "2D platy." When compounded with resin, it delivers both high rigidity and weight reduction.

Beyond its role as a reinforcement in automotive resins, "DIA" can also act as a nucleating agent and contribute to heat resistance, polymer morphology control, and gas permeability control. This breadth of application is one of its defining features. It also improves recyclability through monomaterial design, contributing to a circular economy. It supports the carbon neutrality and ESG initiatives of companies in the automotive and advanced functional materials sectors from the materials side. Grades are designed to meet customer specifications for each application, from resins to advanced functional materials.

About the Tahara Factory

The Tahara Factory (Tahara City, Aichi) was completed in January 2026 and entered commercial operation in July 2026. Located on a site of approximately 3,300 square meters, it manufactures "DIA" with an annual production capacity of approximately 10,000 tons, using CO2-free electricity among other measures to reduce its environmental footprint.
