株式会社ハミガキドッグ、台湾にて海外初となる「OraBio認定歯みがきサロン合宿講座」を開催

～日本発のペットオーラルケア教育を海外へ。台湾にて認定サロン制度をスタート～

株式会社ハミガキドッグ（本社：大阪府、代表：山田あや）は、2026年7月、台湾において海外初となる「OraBio認定歯みがきサロン合宿講座」を開催いたします。

本講座は、日本国内で累計3,500頭以上の犬の歯みがき指導実績を持つ「ハミガキドッグ」が展開する教育プログラムであり、ペットオーラルケアブランド「OraBio」と連携して実施されます。

近年、アジア各国においてペットの高齢化が進む中、歯周病や口臭などの口腔トラブルへの関心が高まっています。一方で、家庭での歯みがき習慣や正しいケア方法を学ぶ機会はまだ十分とは言えません。

ハミガキドッグでは、「歯みがきは習慣である」という考えのもと、日本国内において歯みがき教室や認定制度を展開してまいりました。

今回の台湾開催は、その取り組みを海外へ展開する第一歩となります。

講座では、犬の口腔構造や歯周病の基礎知識だけでなく、

・犬に負担をかけない保定方法

・歯ブラシの選び方と使い方

・飼い主へのカウンセリング方法

・継続してもらうためのレッスン設計

・実際の歯みがき実習

など、日本で培ってきたノウハウを実践形式で学んでいただきます。また、受講者には「OraBio認定歯みがきサロン」としての認定制度も用意しており、今後は台湾国内において認定サロンネットワークの構築を進めてまいります。

Hamigaki Dog Co., Ltd. to Hold Its First-Ever Overseas "OraBio Certified Dental Care Salon Intensive Course" in Taiwan

Bringing Japan's pet oral care education to the world — launching a certified salon program in Taiwan

Osaka, Japan — Hamigaki Dog Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan; Representative: Aya Yamada) will hold its first overseas "OraBio Certified Dental Care Salon Intensive Course" in Taiwan in July 2026.

This course is an educational program offered by Hamigaki Dog, which has provided dental care instruction for a cumulative total of more than 3,500 dogs in Japan. It is conducted in partnership with the pet oral care brand OraBio.

In recent years, as pets continue to age across Asian countries, interest in oral health issues such as periodontal disease and bad breath has been growing. At the same time, opportunities to learn proper at-home tooth-brushing habits and correct care methods remain limited.

Guided by the philosophy that "tooth brushing is a habit," Hamigaki Dog has developed tooth-brushing classes and a certification program within Japan. This course in Taiwan marks the first step in expanding those efforts overseas.

The course covers not only the fundamentals of canine oral structure and periodontal disease, but also practical, hands-on training, including:

Gentle restraint techniques that minimize stress on the dogHow to select and use toothbrushesCounseling methods for pet ownersLesson design that encourages long-term continuationLive tooth-brushing practice

Participants will learn, in a hands-on format, the know-how Hamigaki Dog has cultivated in Japan. In addition, participants can obtain certification as an "OraBio Certified Dental Care Salon," and the company plans to build a network of certified salons throughout Taiwan going forward.

Hamigaki Dog and OraBio aim to spread Japan's pet oral care culture around the world and to contribute to extending the healthy lifespans of dogs and cats.
