JICは、経済産業省が2023年11月に米国シリコンバレー（カリフォルニア州パロアルト）に設立した、日本発スタートアップの海外展開支援拠点です。現地のアクセラレーター、VC、大学等と連携し、コワーキングスペース・メンタリング・ネットワーキングの提供を通じて、日本企業のグローバル展開を支援しています。

AIバイオメディカルはこれまで、心臓を起点とした再生医療構想を軸に、医療製造プロセスのデジタルツイン化や AI・3Dバイオプリンティング技術を組み合わせ、研究段階にとどまらない「医療を製造する仕組み」の構築に取り組んできました。将来的な社会実装と事業化を見据えたこれらの取り組みが評価され、今回の採択に至りました。

本採択を米国事業展開の足がかりとし、2026年より米国での事業展開を本格化させます。シリコンバレーを起点に、現地研究機関・企業との連携や事業検証を進め、日本発の次世代医療製造技術のグローバル展開を目指してまいります。

AI Biomedical Inc. JIC supports Japanese startups expanding overseas by providing coworking spaces, mentoring, and networking opportunities in collaboration with local accelerators, venture capitalists, and top universities.

AI Biomedical Inc. has been advancing initiatives centered on next-generation regenerative medicine starting with the heart, integrating medical manufacturing digital twins, AI, and 3D bio-printing technologies to build scalable and reproducible medical manufacturing systems beyond the research stage. This approach was evaluated in the selection process as a promising foundation for global expansion. 

Leveraging this selection as a foothold, AI Biomedical Inc. will begin full-scale business development in the United States from 2026, using Silicon Valley as a base to strengthen local partnerships, conduct business validation, and accelerate the global deployment of Japan-originated next-generation medical manufacturing technologies.
