岸田文雄元内閣総理大臣が株式会社クリーンプラネットの技術開発拠点を視察

～低温核融合による次世代エネルギーの社会実装に期待～

株式会社クリーンプラネット（本社：東京都千代田区、代表取締役：吉野英樹）は、2026年5月20日、岸田文雄元内閣総理大臣を弊社技術開発拠点「KAWASAKIベース」にお迎えし、ご視察いただきました。

当日は、低温核融合を活用した次世代エネルギー技術「QHe（Quantum Hydrogen Energy）」の実証設備をご覧いただくとともに、東北大学の笠木治郎太名誉教授、大阪大学の土岐博名誉教授からの、低温核融合の原理やメカニズムについての説明をご傾聴いただきました。

視察を通じて、岸田元総理からは、以下のお言葉を頂戴いたしました。

「エネルギー安全保障や脱炭素化に資する日本発の革新的エネルギー技術として、大きな期待をしております。また、日本がエネルギーを輸出できる国になる可能性を秘めた、大変重要な挑戦であると感じています。」

今回のご視察と激励のお言葉を受け、弊社メンバー一同、低温核融合の社会実装に向けた使命と責任を改めて強く認識しております。

クリーンプラネットは今後も、低温核融合を活用した次世代エネルギー技術の研究開発を通じて、持続可能で豊かなエネルギー社会の実現に向けた挑戦を続けてまいります。

Clean Planet Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hideki Yoshino) had the honor of welcoming former Prime Minister Fumio Kishida to its technology development site, “KAWASAKI Base,” on May 20, 2026, for an official visit.

During the visit, former Prime Minister Kishida toured demonstration facilities for “QHe (Quantum Hydrogen Energy),” a next-generation energy technology utilizing solid state fusion. He also attentively listened to explanations on the principles and mechanisms of solid state fusion provided by Professor Emeritus Jirota Kasagi of Tohoku University and Professor Emeritus Hiroshi Toki of Osaka University.

Following the visit, former Prime Minister Kishida shared the following remarks:

“I have high expectations for this innovative energy technology originating in Japan, which has the potential to contribute to both energy security and decarbonization. I also believe this represents an extremely important challenge, with the potential for Japan to become a country that exports energy.”

Encouraged by this visit and these words of support, all of us at Clean Planet have renewed our strong sense of mission and responsibility toward bringing Quantum Hydrogen Energy into practical use.
