日本向けバッテリー用リチウムの供給体制を構築
日本とUAEの経済・産業・投資協力を促進する駐日UAE大使館の取り組みの一環として、大使館は以下の発展を発表いたします。
東京、2025年7月 ― アラブ首長国連邦（UAE）に本拠を置くリチウム精製企業 タイタン・リチウム・インダストリーズ・リミテッド は、日本の ミネソルLLP と戦略的提携を締結し、日本市場向けのバッテリー用リチウム供給を本格化していきます。本提携は、UAEと日本の持続可能な産業開発における協力関係をさらに強化する重要な一歩となり、駐日UAE大使館の仲介により実現しました。
ミネソルLLPは、タイタン・リチウムのオフテイク契約交渉を支援するとともに、バッテリーグレードのリチウム炭酸塩およびリチウム水酸化物に関する日本企業との取引機会の創出を担います。初期段階における供給目標は年間1万トンを予定しています。
ドバイに本社を構えるタイタン・リチウムは、アブダビのケザド工業団地にUAE初の世界規模リチウム精製プラントを建設中です。同施設は稼働後、年間最大12万トンのリチウム炭酸塩換算（LCE）生産能力を有する計画で、UAEをクリーンエネルギー素材のグローバルサプライチェーンにおける主要拠点へと押し上げるとともに、世界のEV・バッテリーメーカーの需要拡大を支えていきます。
一方、リチウムの調達・流通に精通するミネソルLLPは、日本の自動車および産業分野における豊富な経験と広範なネットワークを活かし、タイタン・リチウムに対し現地市場の専門知識と日本のEV・エレクトロニクス産業へのアクセスを提供します。
本合意は、エネルギー転換において重要となる持続可能性およびクリーンエネルギー供給チェーンの構築に向け、UAEと日本の経済協力を強化する取り組みの一環です。
Titan Lithium Partners with Minesol LLP to Supply Battery-Grade Lithium to Japan
As part of the UAE Embassy’s efforts to promote economic, industrial, and investment cooperation between the UAE and Japan, the Embassy is pleased to announce the following development.
Tokyo, July 2025 – Titan Lithium Industries Ltd., a UAE-based lithium refinery, has partnered with Japan’s Minesol LLP to facilitate its entry into the Japanese market, marking a significant step in strengthening UAE–Japan collaboration in sustainable industrial development.
The partnership, introduced by the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Japan, will see Minesol LLP support Titan Lithium in offtake discussions and connect the company with potential Japanese buyers for battery-grade Lithium Carbonate and Lithium Hydroxide, with an initial minimum supply target of 10,000 tonnes.
Headquartered in Dubai, Titan Lithium is currently building the UAE’s first world-class lithium refinery in Abu Dhabi’s KEZAD Industrial Zone. Once operational, the facility will have an annual production capacity of up to 120,000 tonnes of Lithium Carbonate Equivalent (LCE), positioning the UAE as a key player in the global supply chain for clean energy materials while supporting the growing demands of EV and battery manufacturers worldwide.
Minesol LLP, a brokerage firm specializing in lithium sourcing and distribution, brings extensive experience and deep connections across Japan’s automotive and industrial sectors, providing Titan Lithium with local market expertise and access to Japan’s robust EV and electronics industries.
This agreement underscores the ongoing efforts to enhance economic cooperation between the UAE and Japan in advancing sustainability and clean energy supply chains critical to the energy transition.
