ラグビー・スクール・ジャパン（RSJ）は、リヴァプール・インターナショナル・アカデミー・ジャパンとの戦略的協業（コラボレーション）を開始したことを発表いたします。本取り組みにより、質の高いスポーツ、人格形成、そして地域との関わりを統合することで、本校が掲げる「全人教育（Whole Person Education）」へのコミットメントをさらに強化してまいります。

本協業は、ラグビー・スクールが長年培ってきた450年の教育理念と、リヴァプールFCが世界的に展開するサッカー育成メソッドを融合させるものです。この取り組みは、RSJの課外活動や入学制度と連携した、体系的で将来性のあるアスリート育成プログラムを構築するものです。

RSJの教育およびセーフガード（安全配慮）の枠組みの下で運営されるリヴァプール・インターナショナル・アカデミー・ジャパンは、同クラブの権威あるアカデミーシステムに沿った指導手法を提供します。この専門的な指導を通じて、RSJの生徒は、学校全体の参加からハイパフォーマンス育成までをサポートする、強化されたサッカープログラムの恩恵を受けることになります。

強化されたサッカープログラムは、以下の内容を含め、年間を通して実施されます。：

・リヴァプール・インターナショナル・アカデミー・ジャパンによるコーチングを、RSJの週ごとのエンリッチメント（課外活動）およびスポーツプログラムに一体的に組み込む

・より高いレベルのサッカー指導を求める在校生に向けた体系的な育成パスウェイ

・RSJ主催の招待制トーナメントおよび教育的なスポーツイベント

・リーダーシップ、メンタリティ、パフォーマンス教育を含む総合的なアスリート育成プログラム

・　RSJ在校生および入学希望者を対象とした、実践的な体験型評価セッション

この協業により、RSJにおける既存のサッカー教育の質が大幅に向上し、生徒の成長機会がさらに広がることが期待されるとともに、学校全体の教育プログラムをサポートします。また、入学希望のご家族にRSJの世界クラスのエンリッチメント環境をアピールする、魅力的な生徒募集のパスウェイとしても機能します。

Strengthening Whole-Person Education and Admissions Pathways Through Elite Sport

Tokyo, Japan – Friday, 22nd May 2026

Rugby School Japan (RSJ) is pleased to announce the signing of a strategic collaboration with Liverpool International Academy Japan, further strengthening the School’s commitment to whole-person education through the integration of high-quality sport, character development, and community engagement.

Bringing together Rugby School’s 450-year educational legacy with Liverpool FC’s globally recognised youth development methodology, this initiative establishes a structured and aspirational athletic pathway fully integrated into RSJ’s co-curricular and admissions programmes.

Operating under RSJ’s educational and safeguarding umbrella, Liverpool International Academy Japan will deliver a coaching approach aligned with the club’s prestigious academy system.

Through this specialized instruction, RSJ pupils will benefit from an enhanced football programme supporting both whole-school participation and high-performance development.

The enhanced football offering will be integrated throughout the academic year, including:

LFC International Academy Japan coaching seamlessly embedded within RSJ’s weekly enrichment and sports provision
Structured development pathways for currently enrolled pupils seeking higher-level football training.
RSJ-hosted invitational tournaments and educational sporting events.
A holistic athlete development programme incorporating leadership, mindset, and performance education
Immersive "taster" assessment sessions, designed exclusively for current pupils and prospective RSJ students.

This collaboration is expected to significantly enhance existing football provision at RSJ, strengthen opportunities for pupil development, and support the School’s broader educational offering.
