Hyperithm、社内公用語を英語にします

株式会社HYPERITHM（本社：東京都千代田区、代表取締役：ロイド・リー）は、2023年5月より社内公用語を英語にします。

• 社内公用語を英語にする背景

現在、当社のクライアントやパートナーの8割以上がグローバルのクライアントであり、必然的に英語でのコミュニケーションスキルが求められています。今後もグローバル競争力の向上と効率化を図るため、当社では英語を公用語とすることを決定いたしました。この取り組みにより、海外の発達した技術や情報をスピーディに獲得することができると考えています。今後、社員の英語力向上を図り、グローバル人材の採用を進めて参ります。

当社が社内公用語を英語化する理由は、グローバル競争力の向上と効率化を目指すためです。グローバルビジネスの中でも特にWeb3分野においては、英語で情報を得られることが事業に大きな影響を及ぼします。実際に、先日行われたETHGlobal Tokyoのサイドイベントの90％以上が英語で行われました。
当社は既に多国籍のメンバー構成になりつつありますが、これにより、よりグローバルに事業が展開できると考えています。Hyperithmにとって、社内公用語を英語に切り替えることは大きなチャレンジですが、私たちはその覚悟を持って取り組む価値があると考えています。英語でコミュニケーションを取れるようになることで、グローバルに公私ともに充実した生活を送ることができるようになることを目指しています。この決定を通して、日本でトップレベルのグローバルWeb3企業を目指していきます。

Hyperithmは2018年1月の創業以来、日本と韓国を拠点に機関投資家などを対象とした暗号資産のウェルスマネジメント事業を展開しています。日本においては、適格機関投資家等特例業務の届出を、韓国においては日本の暗号資産交換業に相当する暗号資産事業者の届出を完了しています。2022年3月には、シリーズBのブリッジラウンドにてCoinbase Venturesより資金調達を行いました。2022年5月からは適格機関投資家等特例業務に基づく国内初ビットコイン建てのファンドを運用開始しています。また、2022年6月には、Web3のエコシステムの活性化を目的とした、Web3ファンドを組成し活発に投資を行っています。

Hyperithm Makes English the Company's Official Language

Hyperithm will formally change its official company language from May, 2023.

Background 

The company’s solid foundation within the Japanese and Korean market has given us the ability to attract clients and competitively compete on the international scene in recent years. With more than 80% of our partners and clients coming from outside of Japan and Korea, we have naturally decided to make English become our official in-house language as we seek to continue to branch our business outside of regions where we have a strong market foothold.

We believe that this initiative will enable us to more efficiently acquire and develop technologies, as well as consume information from the global market’s perspective. We will continue to improve the English language skills of our employees and promote the hiring of global human resources.

"The reason we are changing our official internal language to English is to improve our global competitiveness and efficiency. In global business, especially in the Web3 field, having access to information in English has a significant impact on our business. In fact, more than 90% of the side events at the recent ETHGlobal Tokyo were held in English. We are already becoming more multinational in our membership, and we believe this will allow us to expand our business more globally. This is surely a challenge, but we believe it is worth the commitment as the ability to communicate in English is crucial in both business and personal life on a global scale.
