Founded in April 2020, Light operates the next-generation live-streaming platform "palmu" with the mission of "building a world where the next generation of stars are co-created. The platform enables real-time connection between streamers and viewers through comments and gifts. Light CEO’s Comment
In talking with Mr. Lloyd, the CEO, I found him to be a very wise man with deep insight into crypto, and since we are of the same generation, I was very interested in working together with him and approached him from a very early stage to request funding.
We are very happy to have received this funding, and although the future of the crypto world is still very unpredictable, that is why we will continue to make steady preparations and work hard to create essential products that will be beneficial to the world.
Hyperithm CEO’s Comment
We invested in the live-streaming platform "palmu" and Light Inc. because of their business appeal, their attractiveness as a team, and their track record to date.
They are also considering IEO funding through GMO Coin.
This is our first investment in a project that is considering an IEO in Japan.
Through this investment in Light Corporation, we will contribute to the promotion of domestic token issuance and the growth of the platform.
