インドのEVスタートアップBNCへ追加出資

バッテリー、データ領域への共同開発を拡大

武蔵精密工業株式会社（本社：愛知県豊橋市、代表取締役社長：大塚浩史、以下ムサシ）は、インドのEVスタートアップ企業であるBNC Motors Pvt. Ltd. (旧Booma Innovative Transport Solutions Private Limited。本社：インド・タミル・ナードゥ州コインバトール、CEO: Anirudh Ravi Narayanan、以下BNC）に対し追加出資を行いましたのでお知らせいたします。ムサシとBNCは今後、インドにおけるEモビリティの普及を促進するため戦略的に協業します。

ムサシとBNCは、すでに協業している自動二輪車用E-Axleユニットをさらに強化するだけでなく、三輪車の開発、BMS (バッテリーマネジメントシステム) やデータアプリケーションなどのソフトウェアアプリケーションといった領域への共同開発を拡大させることで合意いたしました。また、両社はインド国外への車両輸出に関して協力することで合意しました。

ムサシとBNCは、道路を走る内燃機関車を削減することで温室効果ガスの使用量を削減し、社会に貢献することを目指しています。

Musashi Announces Additional Investment for BNC Motors

Musashi Seimitsu Industry Co., Ltd. (Global Headquarters: Toyohashi-city, Aichi, Japan; President and CEO: Hiroshi Otsuka, “Musashi”) has made an additional strategic investment in BNC Motors Pvt. Ltd. (FKA: Booma Innovative Transport Solutions Private Limited. Headquarters: A-9, SIDCO Industrial Estate, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu- 641021, India; CEO: Anirudh Ravi Narayanan, “BNC”). Musashi and BNC are collaborating to promote the adoption of E-mobility in India.

In addition to Musashi and BNC strengthening the collaboration of the E-Axle unit for electric two wheelers, both companies have agreed to expand collaboration projects including exploring development of 3 wheeler vehicles, Battery Management System (BMS), and software and data applications. Also, both companies have agreed to collaborate regarding the export of the vehicles to areas outside of India.

 Musashi and BNC are aiming to contribute to the society by reducing the use of greenhouse gases by reducing ICE vehicles on the roads.
