ACK会場である国立京都国際会館イベントホール2Fテラスに、シアスター・ゲイツ氏とともに手がけるVIPラウンジ屋外テラス「待合室」を展開します。京都・大原の自然や文化の魅力を五感で感じていただける軽食をご用意し、心地よい滞在時間を提供します。

2. 【VIPプライベートツアー】Ceremony of Reconnection

棚田や里山と調和する洛北の迎賓館「大原山荘」を舞台に、1枠1組限定の至高のプライベートツアーを開催します。シアスター・ゲイツ氏をキュレーターに迎え、山居（茶室）、水田、庭園、滝へと至る敷地全体をひとつのキャンバスに見立てたインスタレーションを展開。大原の静寂な自然と歴史、現代アートが融合する、ここでしか味わえない唯一無二の芸術体験をお届けします。

(Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka; President: Minoru Yoshikawa; hereinafter "TOHO LEO") is pleased to announce its upcoming collaborative initiative with internationally acclaimed artist Theaster Gates at the contemporary art fair "Art Collaboration Kyoto (ACK)" held in Kyoto. As part of this collaboration curated by Theaster Gates, TOHO LEO will introduce a dedicated outdoor VIP lounge terrace, "Machiaishitsu (Waiting Room)," and host "Ceremony of Reconnection," an exclusive, private VIP tour set in the historic Ohara district of northern Kyoto.

1. Production of the Outdoor VIP Lounge Terrace "Machiaishitsu (Waiting Room)"

Located on the 2nd-floor terrace of the Event Hall at the Kyoto International Conference Center (ICC Kyoto)—the venue for ACK—TOHO LEO and Theaster Gates present "Machiaishitsu (Waiting Room)," a dedicated outdoor terrace tailored for VIP guests. Visitors can enjoy light refreshments inspired by the natural and cultural charm of Kyoto’s Ohara region while relaxing in an ambient, thoughtfully curated setting.

Curated by Theaster Gates, the entire property—encompassing the mountain teahouse (Sankyo), rice paddies, traditional gardens, and waterfall—is transformed into a single expansive canvas for an immersive installation. Guests are invited to immerse themselves in the serene nature and heritage of Ohara for a truly unique and transformative art experience.
