UNDPの Digital Xとは/About UNDP Digital X program

UNDP（国際連合開発計画）が運営する Digital Xは、国境を越えたデジタルソリューションの展開をより迅速、簡単にするために存在するプログラムです。UNDPは、既に展開されているプログラムを拡充し、重複をなくし、開発アクター相互の連携を高めることを重視しており、Digital Xは、UNDPだけでなく、国連機関、社会的企業、民間セクター、非営利団体、NGO、大学などからのデジタルソリューションのスケーリングを支援しているプログラムである。Digital Xは、UNDPのChief Digital OfficeとUNDPのGlobal Policy Networkによって作られ、日本政府からの支援によって展開されています。既存のアクセラレーター、財団、プログラムのネットワークと連携し、何千ものデジタルソリューションから選考を通して、世界で最も実績のあるソリューションを推奨して掲載しています。

Digital X exists to make scaling digital solutions across borders faster, easier, and safer. An emergent priority for UNDP is to scale up what already works, reduce duplication, and improve coordination across development actors. This is why Digital X supports scaling digital solutions from not only UNDP, but also from UN agencies, social enterprises, private sector, nonprofits, NGOs, universities, and more. Digital X is created by UNDP’s Chief Digital Office and UNDP’s Global Policy Network and is made possible thanks to the generous support from the Government of Japan. Digital X works with a network of existing accelerators, foundations, and programmes to filter through thousands of digital solutions and recommend the world's most proven solutions. Digital Xでサグリが提供するソリューション/ Sagri Solution in Digital X

課題：
農家は土壌の質を評価する時間的・経済的余裕がほとんどないため、必要以上に肥料を使用してしまっている。これが、気候変動に大きな影響を与え、農業生産においても悪影響を与えるため、食料の安定供給を危険なものにしてしまうことが危惧されています。
解決策：
サグリは、衛星とAIを利用して、農地区画を自動的に作成（AIポリゴン）し、土壌情報を分析します。Sagriのアプリを通じて、農家が肥料を減らし、より効率的に農業を行い、コスト削減するための情報を提供します。

The Problem:
Farmers rarely have the time and financial capacity to assess their soil quality causing them to use more fertilizer than necessary. This greatly affects climate change and leads to increasingly dangerous practices.
The Solution:
Sagri creates farmland boundaries automatically and analyses soil information by using satellite and AI. Sagri's app gives advice to help farmers reduce fertilizer, farm more efficiently, and save costs.

Sagri is a startup company founded in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan in June 2018, and in June 2021 announced a total of 155 million yen in funding from real-tech funds and other investors. It also became the first investment in the Hyogo Kobe Startup Fund. certified as a university-launched venture in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries technology by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries in 2021, and selected as a J-Startup-KANSAI by the Kinki Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry. The company received the Business Concept Award at the Ministry of the Environment's Startup Awards and was selected as a Toyo Keizai 2021 Amazing Venture. In addition, it was recognized as a Gifu University Venture by Gifu University, Tokai National University Organization.

早稲田大学卒業後、大手保険会社、人材系ベンチャー、実家の介護事業とキャリアを重ね、2017年7月に、海外でのタフなキャリアパスを求めてYusen Logistics India Pvt. Ltdのベンガルール支店に着任。現地での日系企業営業の傍ら、ベンガルールを中心としたスタートアップに魅せられ独自にネットワークを構築。2019年4月から日系アグリテックのサグリ株式会社インド法人立ち上げに参画、2度目のベンガルール赴任中。サグリのインド法人においては、マイクロファイナンスビジネス、スマート農業データ基盤事業等の立ち上げに従事中。

After graduating from the School of Political Science and Economics at Waseda University, he joined Tokio Marine & Nichido. After working for Tokio Marine & Nichido, he joined a human resources-related start-up.He was engaged in strategic planning and recruitment support for venture companies. Later, he joined Yusen Logistics in Bengaluru, as Head of Japanese Corporate Sales, August 2017. In April 2019, he joined SAgri as an expat for India business assignment in Bengaluru and he is engaged in partner development, recruitment, organizational structure building, alliances and business development.
