明治記念館内のラウンジ/ダイニング「kinkei」では、10月25日（日）から12月13日（日）まで、秋の味覚を取り入れた「秋のAfternoon Tea 7,500円(税サ込)」をご提供します！
香り豊かな茸や栗、秋刀魚など季節の味覚を取り入れたセイボリーに、シャインマスカットや洋梨のスイーツをご用意。お飲物はハウスブレンドティーをはじめ、メープルティー、マロンティー、スウィートパンプキンティーなど、秋のティータイムにぴったりのラインナップをフリードリンクでご用意。お好みのお飲物とともに、ゆったりとした午後のひとときをお過ごしください。

【明治記念館について】

明治記念館本館は、明治14（1881）年に「⾚坂仮皇居の御会⾷所」として、現在の迎賓館のある場所に竣工されました。明治21（1888）年には『⼤⽇本帝国憲法』草案審議の御前会議の場となり、明治天皇は欠かすことなくお出ましになられました。そのような由緒から、明治記念館本館は「憲法記念館」とも呼ばれています。
現在の地に移築以降、憲法発布30周年記念式典や教育勅語渙発50周年記念式典、日本赤十字社や愛国婦人会の総会、済生会の記念行事など、国家的・社会的に重要な行事の場として活用されました。
昭和22（1947）年に『明治記念館』の名称で総合結婚式場として開館式が挙行され、以来23万組を超えるご夫婦の新しい門出をお祝いしてきました。現在は結婚式にとどまらず、パーティ・会議などのMICE利用、祝賀会や人生儀礼などの記念日利用、レストランや懐石料亭でのお食事会など、多くの会場をさまざまな用途でご利用いただいています。
令和2（2020）年には、本館の歴史的・建築的価値が認められ、東京都指定有形⽂化財（建造物）に指定されました。

From October 25 through December 13, Lounge/Dining “kinkei” at Meiji Kinenkan will offer a seasonal “Autumn Afternoon Tea” for JPY 7,500, inclusive of tax and service charge.
Enjoy a selection of savory delicacies featuring seasonal ingredients such as aromatic mushrooms, chestnuts, and Pacific saury, alongside sweets made with Shine Muscat grapes and pear. The free-flow beverage selection includes our house-blended tea, maple tea, marron tea, sweet pumpkin tea, and more. Relax and enjoy a leisurely autumn afternoon with your favorite drinks.

About Lounge/Dining “kinkei”

Set beside an expansive garden surrounded by seasonal flowers and greenery, kinkei offers an open and relaxing atmosphere. The lounge retains the historic interior of the former dining hall of the Akasaka Temporary Imperial Palace, where Emperor Meiji once hosted official banquets, creating an elegant setting for a memorable experience.
The restaurant offers an extensive menu centered on Western cuisine. The dining area also features a bar counter, making it an ideal place to enjoy a refined and relaxing moment.
When the Lounge “kinkei” is reserved for a private event, guests will be directed to Dining “kinkei.”

【About Meiji Kinenkan】

The Main Building of Meiji Kinenkan was originally completed in 1881 as the dining hall of the Akasaka Temporary Imperial Palace, on the site where the State Guest House Akasaka Palace now stands. In 1888, it hosted imperial conferences for deliberations on the draft of the Constitution of the Empire of Japan, attended regularly by Emperor Meiji. Owing to this history, the building is also known as the Constitution Memorial Hall.
After being relocated to its present site, the building served as the venue for nationally and socially significant events, including ceremonies commemorating the 30th anniversary of the promulgation of the Constitution and the 50th anniversary of the Imperial Rescript on Education, as well as general meetings of the Japanese Red Cross Society and the Patriotic Women's Association and commemorative events held by Saiseikai.
In 1947, the building officially opened as a comprehensive wedding venue under the name “Meiji Kinenkan.” Since then, it has celebrated the beginnings of married life for more than 230,000 couples. Today, Meiji Kinenkan offers a wide range of venues for weddings, parties, meetings and other MICE events, commemorative celebrations and life milestones, as well as dining at its restaurants and traditional Japanese kaiseki restaurant.
In 2020, the Main Building was designated a Tangible Cultural Property of Tokyo in recognition of its historical and architectural significance.
