株式会社ビー・アンド・プラス（本社：埼玉県比企郡小川町、代表取締役：亀田篤志）は、机の裏側に送電ユニットを取り付け、必要な時だけ受電ユニットを机の上に置いてUSB‑C充電（PD対応）できる「机組み込み型ワイヤレス給電ユニット（試作品）」を開発しました。受電ユニットは内部にケーブル収納機構を備え、使わない時は片付けることで、机の上を“何もない”状態に保つことができます。机の美観を損なわず、既存の家具にも後付けできる新しい給電方式として、家具メーカーやコワーキングスペース向けに美観と機能を両立する新しいデスク給電の形として提案します。

1. 背景：机の上の電源機器による美観悪化

近年、デスク環境の整備において「机の上に電源タップや充電器を置かざるを得ない」という課題が続いています。スマートフォンやイヤホン、モバイルバッテリーなどUSB‑Cで充電する機器が増えた一方で、机そのものには給電機能が備わっていないため、利用者は机上にACタップやUSB充電器を置き、ケーブルが散乱する状態になりがちです。 また、家具メーカーやコワーキングスペースでは、机の美観を損なわずに給電機能を追加する方法が求められているものの、そのようなソリューションがあまり無いという課題がありました。

こうした背景から、机の美観を保ちながら、必要な時だけ給電機能を使える新しい方式 が求められていました。

　　 既存の机にも後付けできる構造。

●　必要な時だけ受電ユニットを机の上に置いてUSB‑C充電（PD対応・最大30W）

　　スマホ・モバイルバッテリー・イヤホンなど幅広い機器を高速充電可能。

●　受電ユニットはケーブル収納機構を内蔵

　　フタを外して延長ケーブルを取り出し可能。必要な長さだけ引き出して使うことも可能。

　　机の上にケーブルが散らからないミニマルな運用ができる。

●　使わない時は受電ユニットを片付けて、机の上を“何もない”状態に戻せる

　　 給電機器を常設しないため、机の美観を損なわないデスク環境を維持。

●　USB‑C電圧電流モニタを設置可能

　　フタの上に電圧電流モニタを設置でき、充電状態の確認が可能。

 ●　家具メーカーやコワーキングスペース向けの新しいデスク機能として提案

　　美観維持・後付け可能・PD対応という特徴から、導入ハードルが低く、差別化要素として期待できる。

今回の試作品は、机の美観を損なわずにUSB‑C給電機能を追加できる新しい方式として開発しました。

今後は、受電部の小型化や意匠性の改善など、製品化に向けた改良を進めていく予定です。

B&Plus Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ogawa Town, Hiki District, Saitama Prefecture; Representative Director: Atsushi Kameda) has developed a "desk-integrated wireless power transfer unit (prototype)." This system consists of a power-transmitting unit mounted beneath the desk and a power-receiving unit placed on the desktop only when needed to enable USB-C charging (PD-compatible). The receiving unit features an internal cable storage mechanism, allowing it to be stowed away when not in use so that the desktop remains completely clear. We are proposing this solution to furniture manufacturers and coworking spaces as a new method of desk-based power delivery that balances aesthetics and functionality—preserving the desk's visual appeal while offering a system that can be retrofitted onto existing furniture.

1. Background: Unsightly appearance caused by power equipment on the desk.

In recent years, a persistent challenge in setting up desk environments has been the necessity of placing power strips or chargers directly on the desk surface. While the number of devices requiring USB-C charging—such as smartphones, earphones, and portable batteries—has increased, desks themselves often lack built-in power capabilities; consequently, users are forced to place AC power strips or USB chargers on the desk, leading to cluttered, tangled cables. Furthermore, furniture manufacturers and coworking spaces have sought ways to integrate power functionality without compromising the desk's aesthetic appeal, yet there has been a lack of suitable solutions.

Against this backdrop, there has been a demand for a new approach that allows for power access only when needed while maintaining the desk's visual appeal.

2. Overview of the Prototype

●　Wireless power delivery system with the transmitter unit mounted under the desk

Designed for easy retrofitting onto existing desks.

●　Place the receiver unit on the desk only when needed for USB-C charging (PD-compatible, max 30W)

Enables fast charging for a wide range of devices, including smartphones, power banks, and earphones.

●　Receiver unit features a built-in cable storage mechanism

Remove the lid to access the extension cable; pull out only the length required for use.

Keeps the desk surface tidy and clutter-free for a minimalist setup.

●　Stow the receiver unit away when not in use to restore a completely clear desk surface

Maintains the desk's aesthetic appeal by eliminating the need for permanently installed charging hardware.

●　Compatible with USB-C voltage and current monitors

A monitor can be placed on top of the lid to check charging status.

●　Proposed as a new desk feature for furniture manufacturers and coworking spaces
