2017年アイルランド・日本外交関係樹立60周年記念ロゴコンテスト

2017年は、アイルランドと日本の外交関係樹立60周年です。この節目を祝うとともに、両国間の良好な関係をさらに深めるべく、さまざまなイベントが計画されています。そこで、これらの記念イベントを盛り上げるために使用されるロゴの、一般公募デザインコンテストを実施いたします。

このコンテストの目的は、アイルランドと日本の外交関係樹立60周年を記念する（60年間の友好関係に対する感謝の気持ちを表し、この記念すべき年を契機として両国の友好関係をさらに広げるチャンスを象徴する）ロゴをデザインすることです。どなたでも応募可能です。締め切りは2016年7月13日（水）、応募はeメールのみで受付いたします（[e-mail]）。

 

受賞者は、アイルランド外務・通商省と日本外務省、並びに駐日アイルランド大使館と在アイルランド日本大使館のウェブサイトで発表されます。受賞者にはダブリン－東京間の往復航空券（エコノミークラス）が贈られます（提供：日本航空（JAL）ロンドン支店、駐日アイルランド大使館）。

 

駐アイルランド日本大使の三好真理氏は次のように述べました。「このコンテストを通じて、多くのアイルランド国民の皆様に日本とアイルランドの外交関係樹立60周年について知っていただけたらと思います。ぜひともたくさんのご応募をいただいて、この記念すべき年に使われる素晴らしいロゴを選びたいと思います」

 

駐日アイルランド大使のアン・バリントンも、同じく次のように述べました。「アイルランドを愛する多くの日本国民の皆様に才能を発揮していただき、60年間続いてきた、そしてこれからも続く両国間の温かい友好関係を象徴するロゴを作っていただきたいと思います」

60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ireland and Japan in 2017 Logo Contest

The year 2017 will mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ireland and Japan. A series of events is being planned to commemorate this milestone, as well as to deepen the existing positive relationship between the two countries. Members of the public are now invited to participate in a design contest to create a logo to be used to promote the commemorative events.

This contest is to design a logo to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ireland and Japan (expressing thanks for 60 years of friendly relations, and symbolising the opportunity marked by the commemorative year for the further expansion of the friendship between the two countries). Anyone is eligible to apply until Wednesday, 13 July 2016 by E-mail to [e-mail].

The winner will be announced on the websites of the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade of Ireland, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, and the Embassies in both countries. The London Office of Japan Airlines (JAL), in association with the Embassy of Ireland in Japan, will award the creator of the winning design an air ticket between Dublin and Tokyo (economy class, return).

Mrs Mari Miyoshi, Ambassador of Japan to Ireland commented, “I hope that a lot of Irish people will get to learn about the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Ireland through this contest”, and continued “We are expecting a lot of applications from which we can choose a logo to be used throughout the commemorative year”.

Anne Barrington, Ambassador of Ireland to Japan, echoed these sentiments: “I hope that the many people in Japan who love Ireland will use their talents to create a logo that signifies the warm and friendly relations which have existed for 60 years and will continue into the future”.
