Inclusive Leadershipをテーマに、ニューノーマル時代のSDGsのあり方を追求する。

SDGs経営を牽引する著名経営陣と次世代リーダーが中心となり、10月23日午後6時から3日間のオンライン会議『One Young World Tokyo Caucus 2020』を配信します。

　190ヵ国以上から2000人以上の次世代リーダーが参加する世界最大の国際会議「One Young World Summit (OYW)」が2022年、小池百合子都知事支援のもと、東京で開催されます。これに先立ち、キックオフイベントとして『One Young World Tokyo Caucus 2020』を、BMW Japan始めとするパートナー企業の協力と共に、10月23日～25日にオンラインで開催いたします。Caucusとは、各国に存在する「アンバサダー（OYW参加者）」が、率先して開催する地域版サミット（Caucus）です。OYW本部公認のもと、すでにブラジル、香港、ロシアなど世界各国で開催されてきました。本コーカスでは「Inclusive Leadership」をテーマとし、コロナ禍で特に機会と課題が加速した、ジェンダー平等、環境、経済、平和、健康、教育の６つの領域に焦点を置き、日本コカ·コーラ株式会社 代表取締役社長 ホルヘ・ガルドゥニョ氏、ユニリーバ・ジャパンCHRO島田由香氏、コモンズ投信株式会社会長 渋澤 健氏、ジバンシィ ジャパン プレジデント&CEO クリスティン・エドマン氏始めとする、 ニューノーマル時代のSDGsを牽引する各業界のリーダーをお招きし、議論する模様をオンラインで配信します。

〈企画趣旨〉
『One Young World Tokyo Caucus 2020』は、One Young World Summit  2022年 東京開催に先駆けたプレ・イベントとして、SDGsに対し一人一人が「今できる一歩」を踏み出す機会を作ることを目指します。大テーマである「Inclusive Leadership」は、「誰一人残さない社会を創造するために、全ての人々の強みと違いを活かしアクションを起こすリーダーシップ」を意味します。本コーカスではそれぞれの社会課題に関するセッションを通じ、次世代のリーダーシップの在り方とその実践の方法を議論します。そして、参加者一人一人が社会課題を「自分事化」するだけでなく、自らのコミュニティにおいてリーダーシップを発揮し、あるべき社会の実現に向けた具体的なアクションが取れるよう、力強く後押しします。

2009年の設立以来、One Young Worldは1万人を超えるアンバサダー（歴代のOne Young World参加者）のネットワークを構築し、彼らの様々なプロジェクトは、世界中で2000万人以上の人々に恩恵をもたらしています。アンバサダーの中には、FGM廃止を唱えるジャハ・ドゥクレ氏、脱北者のヨンミ・パーク氏、サンパウロ・タバタ・アマラル・デ・ポンテス連邦保安官代理、精神衛生活動家のフセイン・マナワー氏、カルモニー創設者の岩沢直美氏、ソーシャルメディアで人気のジェローム・ジャール氏、Wheeling Happinessの創設者デヴィカ・マリク氏などが名を連ねています。

Tokyo, JAPAN: One Young World Japan (OYWJ) is excited to announce that it will be hosting the 2020 Tokyo Caucus in collaboration with BMW Japan and a plethora of other strategic partners who are passionate about creating a sustainable society built around SDGs where everyone has a voice and a role to play.

The COVID-19 pandemic has given the entire world a great opportunity to think deeply about our core values and the world we want for ourselves. To leverage this moment, we will look at some of the crucial challenges facing Japan, and the world, through 6 distinct lenses, using SDGs and Inclusive Leadership as our guiding principles for future action:

The OYWJ Ambassador-produced caucus will be streamed live online in English via One Young World’s official YouTube channel and will be available to the general public. Digest versions of the event and its sessions will also be made available at a later date for those in other time zones who are unable to attend the live stream.
