【背景】

世界的なサプライチェーンの不確実性や急激な世界情勢の変化を受け、日本のものづくり現場では、重要部品の調達拠点を国内へと回帰させる動きが本格化しています。とりわけ製品の競争力を決定づける試作・開発プロセスにおいては、高品質な加工品を国内で確実かつスピーディーに手配できる体制の構築が急務となっています。

2. 「1個から」の最短納期を可能にするWEBサービス
   図面レス（3Dデータのみ）での製作にも対応し、見積もりから納品までの圧倒的なスピード感を可能にする当社のWEBサービスをご紹介します。

3. VE提案によるコスト・工数削減の技術相談
   設計図面に対する最適な加工方法の選定や、材質変更の提案など、試作段階から量産を見据えたコストダウンや品質向上のためのVE提案事例をご紹介します。ブースには技術スタッフが常駐しておりますので、図面やデータをお持ち込みいただければ、その場で具体的な技術相談・素材選定のご相談もお受けいたします。

Yumoto Electric Exhibits at the "Prototyping Market & Micro/Precision Machining Technology Expo" (May 28–29, 2026)

Yumoto Electric Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Osaka; President: Hideitsu Yumoto), a contract manufacturer specializing in custom parts for the prototyping and development stages, will be exhibiting at the "Prototyping Market & Micro/Precision Machining Technology Expo," hosted by Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun, Ltd. The show runs for two days (Thursday, May 28, and Friday, May 29, 2026) at Ota City Industrial Plaza PiO. Our theme this year is freeing designers from having to worry about how something gets made, and we'll be presenting solutions to the challenges that come up during the fast-paced prototyping and development phase.

Background

Between global supply chain uncertainty and fast-moving shifts in the international landscape, more and more Japanese manufacturers are bringing the sourcing of key components back home. That's especially true in prototyping and development, where a product's competitiveness often comes down to whether you can get high-quality machined parts made domestically — reliably and fast.

Development teams have been telling us they want a dependable domestic manufacturing partner they can count on, and we've been responding by investing heavily in high-precision machining equipment and building up our technical expertise. At this show, we'll walk visitors through our full range of capabilities and latest machining technology using videos and other materials, with an eye toward solving the real sourcing and prototyping problems our customers run into.

Videos demonstrating our ability to work with more than 200 materials, everything from super engineering plastics to hard-to-machine metals such as molybdenum and titanium alloys. You'll also see how consolidating steps in our ordering process cuts down on ordering hassle and shortens lead times.

2. A web service that gets you parts fast, even for orders of just one piece
We're introducing our new web platform which lets you order with 3D data alone (no drawings needed) and delivers remarkably fast turnaround from quote to delivery.

3. Technical consulting on cutting costs and hours through VE proposals
We'll share case studies of value engineering (VE) proposals, including recommendations for better machining methods for a given design or suggesting alternative materials. Through VE proposals, we aim to lower costs and improve quality, from prototyping all the way through to mass production. Our technical staff will be on hand at the booth, so feel free to bring your drawings or data for on-the-spot advice on machining approach and material selection.
