体験型謎解き脱出ゲームを活用したチームビルディングサービスを提供するインバイトジャパン株式会社（旧社名：エスケープハントジャパン、所在地：東京都台東区浅草）は、出張型の「スーツケースミステリー」の拡充を発表した。設置に１時間もかからず、本格的な謎解き脱出ゲームによるチームビルディングを１００名で同時に行うことも可能だ。INVITE JAPAN の従来のサービスと同様、日本語と英語での同時プレイが可能なバイリンガル対応。日本人と外国人が一緒に働く職場でも、全員で楽しむ事ができる。

 

 

 

「スーツケースミステリー」は、出張型のチームビルディングサービスとして、２０１７年１０月にリリース。社内イベント、国際会議、中堅社員研修の他、新入社員研修や内定者研修でも活用されてきた。謎が詰まったスーツケースを会場に持参して設置するだけなので、スムーズに本格的な謎解き脱出ゲームを行うことができる。これまでは、３０～４０名程度の小規模グループ向けのみの開催だったが、１００名規模での実施要望が多かったことに対応し、この度サービスを拡充した。

訪日外国人数の増加に伴い、個人旅行者だけではない。企業の国際会議・学会・展示会をはじめとする、いわゆるMICEで日本を訪れる人々も増えている。この際に求められるのが、参加者同士のコミュニケーションを促進する、楽しくて会話が弾むチームビルディングイベントだ。「スーツケースミステリー」は、様々な規模のグループに対応する事ができ、言葉や文化の違いを超えて一緒に課題を解決して成功体験を共有できることから、IT・情報サービス、製薬、金融、メーカー、アパレル、運輸等々の様々な業種で活用されている。

An Authentic Escape-Game-Style Team-building Experience Right At The Office!
Invite Japan, Ltd. is Expanding Its Popular “A Suitcase Mystery” Game: Increase Communication and Strengthen Organizations

 

Invite Japan, Ltd. (formerly known as Escape Hunt Japan), based in Asakusa, Tokyo, specializes in offering interactive escape games and a wide range of team-building experiences and services, and is currently expanding its “A Suitcase Mystery” dispatch game.   Taking not even an hour of setup, the game offers a small scale escape game experience for up to 100 people at once. As with all of Invite Japan’s services, “A Suitcase Mystery”is designed as fully bilingual (Japanese and English), so that mixed Japanese and non-Japanese groups can fully enjoy their experience together.

Released in October 2017, “A Suitcase Mystery” dispatch game was designed with events like international conferences, and mid-level and new employee training sessions in mind, although it can be used for many other kinds of events as well. The basic concept is that Invite Japan will bring and set up suitcases filled to the brim with different puzzles for the groups to solve, similar to a mini escape game. Until now “A Suitcase Mystery” has been played by smaller groups of around 30~40 people. However, with an expansion of services underway, Invite Japan is preparing to increase the offering available to 100 people.

As everyone knows well enough, more and more foreigners are coming to Japan, and not just tourists. Participants of international meetings, academic conferences, expos, and other events that are encouraged by MICE to come to Japan are increasing. What the organizers for such events often want are activities that promote communication between participants in a fun way, such that it will allow them to break the ice and talk more freely. “A Suitcase Mystery” promises to do this, for groups made up of different cultures and languages, and across industries, from IT to pharmaceuticals, finance to apparel. Group members will be able to have fun solving challenges together, despite any differences they may have.

At the heart of Invite Japan’s service is its focus on interactive, physical experiences, and has put together challenges that utilizes objects of different sizes and textures. It is also an activity in which  participants must combine and work together in order to complete successfully, utilizing each other’s skills and senses, and sharing in the sense of accomplishment when they finish a puzzle. Before they even realize it, team members open up, grow closer, and establish a sense of team unity, all within the span of an hour.

    “We are in a digitalized age. Our brains are constantly being bombarded with interruptions. How often is it that our concentration is impeded when we check financial statements, SNS, or the latest news on our computers. We can no longer sit down and actually have a conversation with someone without getting distracted and checking our text messages on our smartphones. So the number one goal for us is to grab the attention of such business people and hold it for at least 60 minutes by giving them an out-of-this-world experience. That’s the most important thing.
