iU ビジネスピッチコンテスト「イノプロデモDay」開催について

iU情報経営イノベーション専門職大学（東京都墨田区、学長 中村 伊知哉。以下、iU。https://www.i-u.ac.jp/）では、2021年8月4日（水）13時から、投資家・起業家の方4名をお招きし、学生20チームが出場するビジネスピッチコンテスト「イノベーションプロジェクトデモDay-2021」を開催いたします。
iUは「就職率0％・起業率100％」をテーマに、「学生全員起業」を目標とし、「ICT・ビジネス・グローバルコミュニケーション」の知識・スキルを身につけるカリキュラムを展開しております。なかでも、本学の学びの中核となる必修科目「イノベーションプロジェクト（通称：イノプロ）」は、学生全員が起業プランを企画し、プレゼンを行うアクティブ形式の科目です。「イノベーションプロジェクトデモDay-2021 (イノプロデモDay）」は、イノプロの成果発表大会として、各クラスから選ばれた20チームが、自分たちの起業プランのプレゼンを行い、学年最優秀チームを選出します。なお、「イノプロデモDay」は、YouTubeLIVE配信も実施します。

It is our pleasure to announce that iU University will hold a "DemoDay" contest for new business venture idea pitches.

 

The Professional University of Information and Management for Innovation (Ichiya Nakamura, President) located in Sumida- ku, Tokyo;hereinafter, iU(https://www.iu.ac.jp/), will invite four investors and entrepreneurs to hold a business pitch contest known as the "Innovation Project Demo Day-2021." At this event 20 student teams will participate.
The aim is for iU to develop a curriculum with the theme of "Zero employment rate, and instead 100% entrepreneurship rate." The purpose is to foster students' entrepreneurial spirit to start their own business ventures, and acquiring the knowledge and skills in ICT, business, and global communication. The Innovation Project is also known as "Innopro", which is the core of the iU learning curriculum and is an active learning student-centered pedagogy. Courses at iU are facilitated to support all students' business plans, presentations, and entrepreneurial goals. In this regard, the Innovation Project Demo Day-2021 (Innopro Demo Day) culminates in student presentations of their collaborative results guided by their Innovation Project classes. At the moment, 20 teams have been selected to present their own entrepreneurial plans and strive to become the best team. The event will also be aired through YouTube LIVE.
