Namba Oriental Hotel, the winner of 2015 TripAdvisor Hall of Fame, offers ‘Dotonbori River Night Cruise’ on the night of Namba Yasaka Funatogyo Festival, Shinto-styled boat procession.

　供奉船からは、約1300灯の提灯で飾られた道頓堀川界隈を川面から眺めながら、全22隻の船団と共に巡幸いたします。船内ではお食事とお飲物をお楽しみいただ けるほか、よしもとクリエイティブ・エージェンシー所属「女と男 」さんを司会としてお迎えし、大阪締めと共に笑顔溢れる夏祭りをご体感いただけます。なんばオリエンタルホテルがお届けする、年に一度、大阪ミナミが最も活気づく貴重な「道頓堀川船渡御巡幸」体感をお楽しみください。

　The festival will be held on July 13th, 2016. Namba Oriental Hotel attends as one of the escorts of a flagship sailed by Namba Yasaka Shrine. Through the cruise, guests can enjoy meal, drinks and the stunning Dotonbori neon view from the boat in addition to the brilliant master of ceremony performed by local comedian ‘Onna to Otoko’.

難波八阪神社　道頓堀川船渡御

江戸時代、難波八阪神社の船渡御行事は、天神祭りと並び盛大に行われていたと伝わっています。江戸時代中期 以降に途絶えましたが、2001年に氏子衆と地元企業の支援により復活いたしました。1年に1度の貴重なこの機会に道頓堀川船渡御にて「大阪の夏」をお楽しみください。

About Namba Yasaka Funatogyo Festival (Boat Procession) 

During the Edo era, Namba Yasaka Funatogyo Festival was the major summer festival in Osaka.  Though it faded once, the festival made a come back in 2001 with the support by locals.  Guests can enjoy this rare opportunity to experience the traditional Osaka style summer festival along with cruising.
