外国人高度人材の受入支援促進・定着支援を子女教育の面からサポート

株式会社Global Step Academy（本社：東京都港区、代表取締役社長：モントゴメリー 道緒、以下「Global Step Academy」）はエンプラス株式会社（リコーリースグループ、本社：東京都中央区、代表取締役社長：雲下加奈、以下「エンプラス」）との間において、業務提携契約を2023年10月30日付で締結いたしました事をお知らせいたします。

現在、日本の企業活動を支えているのはもはや日本人だけではなく、特に「高度人材」といわれるような高度な知識や技能を有している人材は国境を越えた獲得競争が活発化しています。高度外国人材には、海外とのビジネスのさらなる拡大や、研究開発を通じたイノベーション創出など、さまざまな分野での活躍が期待され、日本政府も歓迎しています。

そうした中、海外人材が日本で生活するには多くの障壁（Barrier）が存在しています。その中でも、ご家族、特にお子様の学校等に関するサポートの拡充は一つの大きな課題となっています。

受入れ企業がインターナショナルスクール等の学費を負担する規定がある経営層や一定の役職以上の駐在員とは違い、昨今急増している海外からの直接採用や海外支社・子会社との人材交流の視点で来日する外国人材には前述のクラスほど手厚い待遇ができる企業は少なく、家族で来日する方々についてはお子様の教育問題が日本での就労機会を選択するかしないかの判断軸になることも多くあります。

まだなかなか広く認識されていないこうした課題に対し、両社でこれまで培ってきた相互のノウハウを活用した新サービスを開発し、受入企業へ提供していくことで、さらに多くの外国人材に対する幅広いサポートを実現し、優秀な外国人材が日本でストレスなく「住まう」「暮らす」こと、生活する上でのバリアを取り除く環境の整備を図ります。
