2024年9月16日 サンフランシスコ＆ウィーン発 ー 本日、分散型テクノロジー エコシステムの主要なオープンソース ファウンデーションであるLinux Foundation Decentralized Trustは、エンタープライズ ブロックチェーン デプロイメントに真の分散化をもたらすビザンチン障害耐性 (Byzantine Fault Tolerant : BFT) コンセンサスを含むHyperledger Fabric 3.0の一般提供を発表しました。新たに設立されたLF Decentralized TrustのプロジェクトであるHyperledger Fabricは、パフォーマンス、スピード、プライバシーに最適化されたモジュール式のエンタープライズグレード ブロックチェーン フレームワークです。

Hyperledger Fabric 3.0は、現在のLTSリリースであるバージョン2.5で導入されたパフォーマンス強化を基に構築されています。また、強力な新しいコンセンサス オプションであるビザンチン障害耐性 (BFT) オーダリングサービスも提供しており、これにより Hyperledger Fabricネットワークの回復力と信頼性が向上します。具体的には、Fabric 3.0は、既存のネットワークへの実装が容易で、エンタープライズの本番環境への展開にも適したSmartBFTプロトコルを活用した初のブロックチェーン プラットフォームです。

SmartBFTオーダリングサービスにより、Hyperledger Fabric 3.0を使用する企業は、ノードが侵害された場合でも運用を継続できます。これは、完全に分散化されたシステムにとって極めて重要な要件です。コンセンサス プロトコルは、すべての関係者が同じ順序でトランザクションを処理することを保証し、分散化システムの整合性と一貫性を維持します。ノードが侵害された場合 (ビザンチン障害)、整合性に影響を与え、システムを停止させる可能性があります。今回のFabricのリリースでは、SmartBFTコンセンサス ライブラリの統合により、企業はこのような障害に対する本番環境に対応した保護を選択できるようになりました。
