本MOUを通じ、Camergeの電力・エネルギーマネジメント分野における顧客基盤・電力消費管理プラットフォームおよび営業基盤、Ecogenのエネルギー・ユーティリティソリューション事業における顧客基盤および脱炭素・省エネ支援に関する知見、ならびに当社のGHG排出量可視化・管理プラットフォームに関する事業経験やノウハウを活用し、ブラジル市場における脱炭素経営の推進およびソリューション展開に向けた取り組みを進めてまいります。
本協業の背景および狙い
世界的な脱炭素化の潮流を受け、中南米最大の経済規模を有するブラジルにおいても、企業によるGHG排出量の把握・開示および削減への関心が高まっています。ブラジルでは近年、ISSB基準に基づくサステナビリティ情報開示制度や排出量取引制度（SBCE）に関する法制度整備が進展しており、企業におけるGHGデータ管理の重要性が今後さらに高まることが見込まれています。当社は、テクノロジーと高い専門性による伴走支援を掛け合わせることで、これまで日本国内の多様な企業へ脱炭素推進の上流戦略の設計から具体施策の推進までを一気通貫で支援してきました。この日本国内で培ったGHG排出量の可視化・管理に関する事業経験やノウハウを活かし、グローバル展開を推進しています。
このたび、CamergeおよびEcogenとの連携を通じて、ブラジル市場におけるGHG排出量可視化・管理プラットフォームおよび脱炭素ソリューションの市場機会について共同で検討を進めます。具体的には、各社が保有するデータや知見を活用し、市場ニーズ調査や将来的なソリューション提供の可能性等について協議を進めてまいります。

e-dash Signs MOU with Brazilian Power and Energy Management Company Camerge and Brazilian Energy and Utilities Solutions Provider Ecogen
Promoting GHG emissions visualization and the deployment of decarbonization solutions in Brazil
e-dash Co., Ltd. (“e-dash,” headquarters: Tokyo, Chief Executive Officer: Toma Yamasaki) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Camerge Consultoria e Assessoria em Mercado e Gestão de Energia S.A. (“Camerge”), a Brazilian power and energy management company, and Ecogen Brasil Soluções Energéticas S.A. (“Ecogen”), a Brazilian energy and utilities solutions provider.
Through this MOU, the parties will advance initiatives for promoting corporate decarbonization and deploying decarbonization solutions in the Brazilian market by leveraging Camerge’s customer base, power consumption management platform, and sales infrastructure in the power and energy management sector; Ecogen’s customer base and expertise related to decarbonization and energy efficiency support in its energy and utilities solutions business; and e-dash’s business experience and know-how in GHG emissions visualization and management platforms.
Background and Objectives of the Collaboration
Driven by the global shift toward decarbonization, corporate interest in tracking, disclosing, and reducing GHG emissions is rising in Brazil, the largest economy in Latin America. The country has recently made significant legislative progress, introducing sustainability disclosure frameworks based on ISSB standards alongside the Brazilian Emissions Trading System (SBCE). Consequently, the importance of corporate GHG data management is expected to grow further.
By combining technology with hands-on support backed by deep expertise, e-dash has provided end-to-end support to a diverse range of companies in Japan, from the development of decarbonization strategies to the implementation of concrete initiatives. Leveraging its business experience and know-how in GHG emissions visualization and management cultivated in Japan, e-dash is advancing its global expansion efforts.
Through its collaboration with Camerge and Ecogen, e-dash will jointly explore market opportunities for GHG emissions visualization and management platforms and decarbonization solutions in the Brazilian market. Specifically, the parties will leverage their respective data and expertise to conduct market needs assessments and discuss potential future solution offerings.
Through this MOU, e-dash will further accelerate its business expansion in global markets, including Brazil. By collaborating with leading local companies, e-dash aims to provide decarbonization solutions tailored to the needs of each market and contribute to the realization of a carbon-neutral society on a global scale.
