株式会社学研プラス（東京・品川/代表取締役：碇秀行）は、世界市場に向けて英語版幼児ワークブックの販売を開始いたします。
『頭脳開発シリーズ http://zunou.gakken.jp/』は1982年に創刊。「楽しく遊びながら思考力を伸ばすワーク」として30年以上の間、日本の読者に親しまれてきました。飽きさせずに集中力を持続させる仕掛けが随所に盛り込まれているのが特長で、子どもたちは達成感を得られ、「もっと学んでみたい気持ち」を育てます。既刊タイトル数は約80種、累計発行部数は4,000万部を超えます。（監修は、「頭の体操」シリーズの著者として知られる千葉大名誉教授で心理学者の多湖輝先生）
海外では、中国、韓国、ロシア、タイなど世界9カ国で発売されており、累計販売部数は300万部になりました。これら海外版は、現地の出版社と契約し現地の出版社の名前で発行されてきましたが、今回の英語版は新たな試みとして、現地の出版社に頼らず、Gakkenの名前で発行し、制作から販売、宣伝までを自社で行います。
北米では、現地の販売ルートを保有する日販アイ・ピー・エス株式会社（代表取締役社長：牛山 修一）と提携し、Barnes & Nobleなど大手書店チェーン、Amazonなどネット書店、その他量販店や専門店でも販売します。
ニューヨークで行われた発売前の体験イベントでは「カラフルなデザインで親しみやすい」「イラストレーションがキュート」「これまでの中で一番熱中していた」「自分の知らない子どものアビリティを発見した」といった、現地パパママからの高い評価も得ました。なかでも「キンダーガーデンの準備にぜひ活用したい」という声が多かったことから、入学前の児童をメインのターゲットにしています。

Gakken will be launching an English-language version of its acclaimed pre-K and K workbook series this spring. The series was first published in 1982 and has since been a hit both in and out of Japan, with over 40 million copies sold in Japan and translations in 8 different languages.
Restructured especially for the English-language market, the Go Go Series is designed to prepare children for life in the classroom through a creative learning process. The first release includes 8 titles and focuses on activities for early learning such as drawing, tracing, coloring, and mazes.
The Go Go Series prides itself on the variety of its activities as compared with other workbooks, including drawing, folding, cutting, creative use of stickers, etc. The activities engage children in critical thinking and creative problem-solving, systematically building their early academic skills.
Each title in the Go Go Series includes "Activity Stickers" and "Reward Stickers."
With the Activity Stickers, children can complete workbook pages in their own special way, giving agency to their creativity and allowing them a sense of pride that they're making their own workbook.
The Reward Stickers are a great motivational tool. Children love finishing off the page with a Reward Sticker. This lets them clearly check it off as complete, giving them a sure sense of accomplishment after each page.
The Go Go Series is arranged to ensure continued motivation. With a wide variety of problems and activities, all set in situations familiar to children, it has fun and engaging challenges from front to back.
The series also wants to do everything it can to help out you parents, and has included a "To parents" note on each page with hints on how to encourage little learners.
