福地組連携「iU サタデーハッカソン」沖縄東町商業ビル活性化 最優秀企画選出について

iU（東京都墨田区、学長 中村 伊知哉。以下、iU。https://www.i-u.ac.jp/）では、沖縄県嘉手納町の建設業「株式会社福地組」と連携、同社が保有する沖縄県の商業ビルのリノベーション企画を開発する、iU学生のハッカソンを開催し、最優秀チームを選出しました。
iUは「就職率0％・起業率100％」をテーマに、「学生全員起業」を目標とし、「ビジネス・ICT・グローバルコミュニケーション」の知識・スキルを身につけるカリキュラムを展開しております。
なかでも、本学の学びの中核となる必修科目「イノベーションプロジェクト（通称：イノプロ）」は、120名以上のゲスト講師を招聘、ビジネストレンドを体感しながら、学生全員が起業プランを企画するアクティブ形式の科目です。

沖縄県那覇市の商業ビル「東町ビルディング」の活性化企画を提案。優勝チームは、沖縄に行き企画実装を試みます。

「東町を池袋に！」東町ビルを撮影スタジオにし、地区全体でコスプレイベントを実施。東町の聖地化を計画。

iU Saturday Hackathon Held in Collaboration With FUKUCHIGUMI Inc.,

Winner of the Okinawa Higashimachi Commercial Building Revitalization Project Chosen

iU Professional University of Information and Management for Innovation (Sumida-ku, Tokyo, President: Ichiya Nakamura. Hereinafter referred to as iU. https://www.i-u.ac.jp/)  held a hackathon in collaboration with FUKUCHIGUMI Inc., a construction company in Kadena-cho, Okinawa, for students of iU to develop renovation project proposals for a commercial building owned by the company in Okinawa, and the team with the best project was chosen as the winner of the hackathon.
Based on the theme of “0% employment rate, 100% entrepreneurship rate”, iU implements a curriculum that allows students to acquire knowledge and skills in business, ICT and global communication with the goal of all students starting their own businesses.
In particular, the Innovation Project (often abbreviated as InnoPro), a compulsory course that is at the core of learning at iU, is an active learning course in which all students plan their own entrepreneurial plans and experience business trends under the guidance of more than 120 invited guest lecturers.
The Saturday Hackathon was held for third-year students as part of the InnoPro Course, and the winning project was chosen. An overview of the Saturday Hackathon is also available on the InnoPro website (https://iuinnovation.jp/).

Propose a revitalization plan for the Higashimachi Building, a commercial building in Naha-shi, Okinawa Prefecture. The winning team will travel to Okinawa to implement the plan.

●Winning project: “Transform Higashimachi into Ikebukuro!” Team HISTA

“Transform Higashimachi into Ikebukuro!”: Higashimachi Building will be converted into a photo studio, and cosplay events will be held throughout the district. Plan to turn Higashimachi into a mecca.

“I am very happy that we were able to win the competition, as the quality of ideas and presentations in both the class and grade presentations was at a high level. We were able to achieve a fantastic result, and we will aim to win again in the second semester.”

In the shadow of booming tourism and new hotels and facilities, an increasing number of older towns have fallen out of the spotlight. What we would like everyone to discuss today is how to utilize a certain multi-tenant building in Higashimachi, which is one such example of an old town in Naha. Higashimachi was once the political and economic center of Naha. However, that vibrancy is now a thing of the distant past. We would like you to come up with innovative ideas that will bring Higashimachi back to its former vibrancy through the revitalization of this multi-tenant building.
